Accepting credit card payments for products and services over the internet is fast becoming an accepted and popular way of doing business. Taking payments 24 hours a day, 7 days a week without even having to be present is certainly an advantage! Axys in affiliation with Direct Payment Solutions (DPS) can offer an easy to use, convenient, safe and secure way to enable your Axys hosted website to accept credit card payments. Payments are processed on the DPS secure server page. Customer's sensitive credit card details are never disclosed, taking away the hassle of security. DPS currently process transactions for many large sites such as Trademe and Farmers, and so have a proven track record for security and reliability.
HOW DPS PAYMENT EXPRESS WORKS
The customer goes through a shopping cart or similar process on your site and a total price is calculated. The customer submits a form which confirms the transaction and routes the customer through to the DPS secure payment page to enter credit card details, Transaction is either approved or declined immediately through the DPS secure server, and customer is sent back to your site with details of the transaction outcome hidden in the background. If payment was approved, this is settled into your account the next working day.
